MARICHAL RESERVE COLLECTION PINOT NOIR blanc de noir/ CHARDONNAY 2011
Winery Marichal
65% Pinot Noir / 35% Chardonnay
Oak ageing: just 70%, during 3 months (30% of the wine without oak in order to keep the best expression of the varieties).
This wine has an attractive salmon colour.
The classic richness of Pinot Noir is balanced with the delicate fruit and refreshing acidity of Chardonnay.
Ageing the wine in oak barrels on its lees lends nuts and almonds notes to the fruity and floral flavours.
It is elegant and well balanced with creamy texture and notes of roses and cherries. The aftertaste is soft, creamy and complex.
Food Pairing: It is great with seafood, specially oysters, smoked or grilled salmon and sushi.
Recommended Serving Temperature: 12º to 13ºC.
